At Auxilium Community Housing, we are dedicated to providing life-changing accommodation solutions for individuals who face significant challenges accessing or maintaining conventional housing due to disability, trauma, and mental ill health. Our trusted team works closely with support providers, mental health professionals, and community stakeholders to ensure that the most vulnerable individuals in our society are not left behind.
Across our communities, many individuals with complex needs are excluded from mainstream housing options. Disability, trauma, and mental ill health can make it difficult for these individuals to access or sustain stable accommodation, leaving them at risk of homelessness and further marginalization. Without stable housing, these individuals face worsening physical and mental health, isolation, and a loss of hope.
The demand for supportive housing solutions continues to grow, and the gap between need and available services is widening. This is where Auxilium Community Housing steps in — providing a safe, stable, and supportive environment for those who need it most.
Lived Experience
“Lived experience” refers to the unique and personal knowledge that individuals gain through their own direct, first hand encounters with life events, situations, and circumstances. It encompasses the subjective and qualitative aspects of one’s life, including emotions, perceptions, and reflections.
Lived experience is vital in social support as it provides insights that may not be fully captured by external observations or data alone.
At Auxilium our team have lived through mental health crisis, addiction and housing insecurity. They have first hand knowledge of the challenges clients face in uncertain times.
We are continually training to gain qualifications which support our lived experiences, allowing us to confidently provide informed support to our clients.

With a holistic approach that addresses the physical, emotional, and social aspects of housing, we enable individuals to overcome barriers and thrive in their communities.
Intensive Housing Management
Auxilium Community Housing CIC offers property placements and Intensive Housing Management. We typically focus on individuals who may require additional support but are not necessarily homeless. Our expert team can offer weekly hours to support the client maintain tenancy and work on developing the skills for independent living. When housed with Auxilium clients are placed in newly renovated, dedicated self contained accommodation.
